This is an API load only valve found on tanker trucks. It is used for bottom loading of petroleum tankers. It is manufactured to American Petroleum Institute (API) RP-1004 specifications which allows for connections to drop adapters and rack couplers.
It has an API adapter on one side and a 4″ TTMA flange on the other side.
The valve is made of heat-treaded aluminum with a brass ring.
