Bauer Type Coupling, 10″ Female Socket Coupling x 10″ Hose Shank, Galvanized Steel (BTC-1000-HS-FS-GS)

Bauer type couplings are ball and socket type fittings used to connect lengths of hose together. The primary application for bauer fittings is irrigation, but these fittings can be used in other suction and water transfer applications. Bauer fittings include a female socket fitting, a male ball fitting, a lever ring and an o-ring gasket.

This is a 10″ female socket coupling that connects to hose with a hose shank.  This female coupling can be used with a 10″ male bauer ball x 10″ hose shank, a 10″ lever closure ring, and a 10″ buna o-ring gasket to make a complete Bauer type coupling.

At Gloxco, we offer bauer fittings to connect to hoses using a hose shank (hose tail). We also offer Bauer fittings with male NPT threads to connect to female threaded pipes.
