A spring mechanism permits these clamps to automatically increase or decrease it’s own diameter due to changes in temperature. This allows these clamps to provide a constant torque. These clamps also include an inner liner that covers the band serrations to help prevent hose damage.
The band of these hose clamps are made of 301 Stainless Steel while the screw is made of 410 stainless steel. They have a working range of 210mm to 232mm or 8-1/4″ to 9-1/8″.
Compatible hose size may vary depending on the thickness of the hose. Check the outside diameter of your hose and make sure it is within the working range.
