Self Locking Camlock Fitting, Type B, Brass, 3″ Female Cam and Groove x 3″ Male NPT (CAM-30-BSL-BR)

These special self-locking cam and groove fittings function exactly like our original camlock couplings. However, these fittings include special self locking arms. When these arms are fully closed, they automatically locks in place and remain locked until the finger rings are pulled.

WARNING, these are only suitable for stationary applications. The release mechanism is triggered by pulling the release rings in the same direction as the arm opens, so for this reason the arms can opened if dragged, or if something moves past and catches the release ring.

The self locking fitting is a type B self locking cam and groove fitting. This type B brass cam lock fitting has a 3″ female camlock (cam and groove) quick connect coupling on one side and a 3″ male NPT theads on the other side. The female camlock side of this coupler will only attach to a 3″ male camlock. The male threaded side will connect to and female NPT (National Pipe Tapered) threaded pipe. The body of this cam and groove fitting is made of brass. This brass cam lock fitting is lightweight and resistant to abrasion corrosion and some chemicals. This fitting’s seal is made of NBR (Buna-N) rubber. Buna-N seals are resistant to fuel, oil, and other chemicals. These cam and groove fittings are suitable for use with water, hydraulic oils, coolants, gasoline, and other petroleum products.

These Type B cam and groove fittings are made to quickly connect or disconnect. They comply with commercial item description A-A-59326D for quick disconnect fittings. These Gloxco camlock fittings are often used in applications such as vacuum trucks, vacuum trailers, frac tanks, fuel delivery, grain movement and waste water industry. Cam lock (cam and groove) fittings are popular couplings because they are economical and can easily be connected and disconnected.
